i’m off to san francisco tomorrow morning
with the love and the bubs in tow. it’s a mini
family vacation as well as a celebration of our
twelve year anniversary!

year with the help of my wonderful critique friends,
querying too many agents and receiving too many
rejections, selling the manuscript last may and learning

to share my first industry review. a starred review
from ALA’s booklist! i honestly was lightheaded
for twenty minutes after virginia sent this to me.
