i had a great chat with my editor
last friday as i head into more revisions.
i’m nervous. augh. but i want to make
the sequel better. for me. for you. for
my editor. but mostly for me. okay, most
of all for my characters and the story. =)
i reserved rooms for the sirens conference
in colorado in october today. i’m hoping to be on
a panel about world fey. the guests of honor
this year are holly black, marie brennan, and
terri windling. sirens is a conference that focuses
on women in the fantasy genre. i’m very excited
to be attending and hope our panel will be accepted!
also, i’ll be hosting a YA panel at Mysterious Galaxy
on tuesday, may 25th @ 7pm. greg van eekhout, megan
whalen turner, barrie summy and richard harland will
be there with a signing following! i can’t wait to be Vanna White! =D
here are few more fotos from our san fran trip
during easter weekend. i had such a fantastic time!
i miss my friends up in the bay area.

thanks nadine! i love sf too!!
Those pastries look amazing!
I like reading these little updates about how the sequel is progressing, because there is so much running in my head having finished the book only a few days ago.
I wrote a little review about the book on my blog detailing a bit on what I enjoyed about Silver Phoenix. It’s a weird feeling because I rarely contact authors personally, but I’m hoping through this more people will pick up the book. :D
judy, i really appreciate the review, thank you! anything to spread the word helps. =D and i don’t talk too in depth about the sequel as i hate spoilers myself.
I can always count on your blog for photos of the most important parts of any outing — the food!
I was looking into the Sirens conference. Oh, I do hope you get accepted! That might be an incentive for me to go.
Lovely pictures! We often take trips to San Francisco. I love just walking around and seeing all that there is to see.
jeannie, i hope so too!!
