    Congrats on the release of your first novel. Asian fantasy. Very unique. At least, I think so, but I don’t follow fantasy.

    jonny, i was too scared to slide down it. ha! my sweet pea slid down too many times she got a burn on her back!! munchkin is a bit meatier. =)

    I gave some thought to packing up the kids and making the 1.5-hr trek up there, but I was too sick (and wouldn’t want to get you guys sick, either). I hope we’ll make it next time. P.S. I love the book so far, some brilliant descriptions and translation of cultural nuances, and I’m sure more to come (I’m on Chapter 10). Where is that amazing slide located? Happy Anniversary!
