look what sweet pea drew for me tonight!
i was making dinner and not paying much
attention and noticed when she was done.
she really truly loves art. none of her toys
gain her attention for more than two days. in
fact, there’s a joke between the love and me…
sweet pea will declare utter devotion to
a new toy : a bear, snow white doll, a brand
new hair band, and sleep with it clutched close
for two nights.
then it’s tossed to the side and quickly
forgotten. drawing and painting and books,
however, always keep her entertained.
she started with the usual stick figures and
made people with GIANT heads and scary faces
with gnashy teeth for quite some time.
then she slowly progressed to more human like
figures and began to design around the
drawings. and now look! she’s making up her
own dress patterns, putting a flower in a ponytail,
giving her girl high heels. and adding gustav
klimt swirls to boot.
i couldn’t be prouder. =D

The thing that is so cool is that it’s her MOM and such a colorful Mom she has too.
:)
Oh, that’s so awesome. I loved to draw when I was that young too. She’s a regular pro already:)

Aww, that’s so pretty! I love seeing little minds develop and grow. Isn’t it amazing how she’s able to add so much into her art now and even such a young age? Just imagine how good she’ll be in a few years.
You’ve got yourself a budding little artist on your hands. You have every right to be proud! :)
