one last hurrah!

i made it a rule not to post any fotos
of the bubs on my blog, but this is an
exception. munchkin and sweet pea wanted
to wish you a very happy holiday and wondrous
new year! =D i don’t think i have to tell you
that they are a handful. i will breathe a huge
sigh of relief when we make it to london and
back again! wish us luck!! i’ll take fotos–assuming
my fingers aren’t frozen the entire time!

beth tagged me for a book meme!
i’m supposed to open the book closest
to me and go to page 56. post the fifth sentence
and two to five sentences after that.

from skin hunger by kathleen duey :

sadima knew that if she left and
wolves smelled the birth-blood, the whole
flock could be scattered, killed. without
their milk and cheese–and without the
money from selling the extra milk–they
would face a hungry winter. and sadima
knew her father would let them all die before
he asked anyone for help.

beth also shared the same from her wip.
and so will i. it was strange to open
my sequel pages again. i haven’t written
in over a week, which makes me a little sad.
but i think i do need this break, and hope to
leap in again after our holiday.

from silver phoenix sequel by me :

He had sat on the stool beside her,
and grasped her elbow, as if concerned she’d fall over.

“But you aren’t the one who sent them to their deaths.”

His fingers tightened a fraction. “No. But I would have
killed them to stay alive. You did what you had to.”

She wiped her eyes with trembling hands. “It seems that I always do.”

and i’m supposed to tag five others!

i choose :

aerin.

angie frazier.

bill ward.

julianne douglas.

ty johnston.

i promise to return with at least one foto
of a traditional heart-stopping

artery clogging english breakfast. YUM! =D

Oh, your bubs are adorable. And I smile picturing how pleased I’m sure they were with their picture. Sweet Pea, especially, if she’s anything like my daughter ; )

And the teasing with the snippet! Natalie and I were just talking today about how excited we are for Phoenix…

Is it okay to be excited for a sequel before even reading the first one? Because you got my interest piqued with this snippet of your current WIP.

Oh, and Lisa and I love the pic! Your kiddies always crack us up — especially JL’s love for the camera.

    Hmm, I *wonder* where she gets it from . . . :)

Have a great time across the pond for us!

They are cute! And yet they look like they could be a wee bit mischievous at times. ;-)

I hope you have a wonderful trip and I’m looking forward to the food pictures. If I only look at the pictures and don’t eat the food, will my arteries still clog?
